Simple Tips for Feeling More Peaceful

Happy New Year. 2023 can become a new beginning for you when you decide what you want to make a priority. The best way to start is by clearly defining your goals, determining the results you want, and then creating a plan of action. When you combine dedication and consistency, you will be on your way to enhancing a more peaceful life.

Consistency will also sustain you when making the required adjustments as you progress toward achieving your desired results. First, decide that you are willing to spend time caring for yourself consistently to get to the point of feeling more peaceful. To be successful, examine what’s not working in your life and avoid excuses that allow your busy schedule to stop you from reaching your goals.

Focus on positioning yourself to feel good, be happy, and experience high-energy vibrations that recharge you. Once you do, you start attracting the right people into your life who will encourage and support your goals, dreams, and aspirations. You deserve to be happy and live your desired lifestyle.

It’s helpful if you consciously choose to find a minimum of 5 minutes a day to begin the process of creating the habit and then build up to 15-30 minutes. Your consistency will ultimately pay off. It might be a little challenging at first but stay persistent.

When I started my well-being journey almost 13 years ago, I worked many hours, was stressed, and did not take great care of myself, so I decided I needed to change and reached out for support. Once I did, I found a coach who filled me with a wealth of new information, which revealed a workable plan of positive change that included exercising and healthy eating, and I was on my way to changing my life.

Do you want to shift your energy and feel good? A few minutes of moving your body daily is a great way to get your energy flowing and feeling better. I like my stationary bike and walking in the neighborhood. I especially love taking my Sunday Kundalini yoga class. I’ve learned about healing, raising my body awareness, mindful meditation, and deep relaxation, and I have come a long way. It soothes my soul and makes me feel peaceful as I strengthen my body. Making positive life changes helps you feel renewed and refreshed and allows stress to float away. Establish habits that fuel your lifestyle and permit you to reach your goals successfully. Be gentle with yourself, be in the now, and focus on what is going well for you.

  1. Take one small step at a time. Each small change will make a difference.
  2. Bring someone into your confidence who inspires you and helps your heart to feel good.
  3. Create a simple daily routine with good habits you are committed to following.
  4. Take a few breaks during the day to re-energize yourself.
  5. Start your day with a healthy breakfast, and drink plenty of water to detoxify and energize your body.
  6. Use lavender, peppermint, or bergamot essential oils to unwind.
  7. Write down in a journal or notebook what you are grateful for.
  8. Choose excellence over perfection. This slight change in perception will make progress instead of procrastinating or resisting.
  9. Don’t give a pickle about what others say. Listen to your intuition. Follow your heart.
  10. Put a smile on someone’s face today. Sharing is caring.

It’s not too late to create change now. Too often, we allow the fast pace of the day to steal our sense of peace and relaxation. Take small steps to find the right balance for you. Learn what it takes to care for and pamper yourself. You have the power to develop new daily habits that will support a healthier and more peaceful lifestyle. When you embrace experiences and do not rush the process, life has joy and becomes more peaceful. Especially when you relax, clear your mind, and welcome what unfolds.
