Skipping breakfast is not the way to achieve permanent weight loss. Your body needs fuel and ongoing nourishment a few times each day. Making better food choices instead of skipping meals will help you to live a healthier lifestyle.  When you skip breakfast there is a good chance you tend to over-eat as you move through your day and choose foods for an emotional fix. This leads to erratic choices that are fueled by external forces that you have no control over. It is important to realize that you do have control over the food you put in your body.

Weight loss is an enormous challenge but it is possible for you to be successful. Change your way of eating rather than go on the latest fad diet. Time and time again choosing these type of quick fix methods only work for the short term unless you change your eating habits over the long term. I have participated in several quick weight loss diets that promised the world and found that none have provided sustainable weight loss. It just doesn’t happen. I always put the weight back on. The only thing that has worked for me was in making the decision to change my lifestyle by committing to permanent weight loss. You have to decide that your health is important enough that you will stand guard of what and when you eat. I now am making better choices about what I eat and exercise on a regular basis. This slow and steady approach will always bring about a better and healthier YOU! Don’t wait any longer to make the change. Let today be the day that you make a decision that you are important and you matter!

An easy way to get started is to simply reduce how often you eat one item that you know is not so healthy for you. Do nothing more than that and you will find yourself adding other things to the list. Just do one at a time and you will discover that you really won’t miss it because there are so many other choices and you will feel better as a result. Getting healthy is a choice that you can make it a priority if you incorporate good habits, realistic goals, and routines that are comfortable for you. It’s not a race, only a series of good choices that will bring you to your ideal weight. Take the first step now, one bite at a time. Doing so is the best way for you to create change that will lead you on a journey to well-being as you also create the healthy lifestyle you desire.
