With everything that you do daily and so much going on around us, are you finding that you’re a little stressed and get frustrated quickly? Is your mind wandering, causing a lack of focus? Recently, my twelve-year-old dog crossed the rainbow bridge. My family and I were heartbroken, having trouble focusing and processing our grief felt overwhelming at times. While grieving, I read an article that suggested honoring your dog by adopting another one, which made me smile. My vet told me that you’ll know when the time is right to get another dog. My daughter and husband were ready, but I was uncertain. So, I decided to join a few Facebook groups for rescue dogs. Suddenly, I felt happy and knew I was ready.
My family and I visited two dogs, but neither worked out. We returned home empty-handed. But sometimes, miracles do happen. The timing was perfect. A week later, we adopted our beautiful rescue dog, a nine-month-old puppy who has brought smiles and joy into our lives. Her name is Linh.
Linh is a Vietnamese name that means “soul” or “spirit”.
